Coming close to finishing the Weirding Module. There are actually two PCBs, one for the components and the other for the electro-mechanical parts. It’s about 80% complete, just gotta tidy things up and it’ll be good to go. Hopefully I can get this sucker out before the new year.

Slimmed down from the first draft quite a bit. Kept the necessities and will include more options on the breakout module.

Ton of stuff going on in this demo. Mostly feeding the saw or triangle wave into the linear or 1v/o inputs with aliasing on or off. Feeding the triangle wave into the linear input gives a more logarithmic slope to the waves. It also affects the VCF into a weird kind of aliasing or “triangular sloping”

Feeding the VCO waves into the VCF audio input don’t always give the best results, since the VCF frequency knob also determines the vco frequency, but certain settings can be fun.

Self-oscillating with aliasing mode switched on and an external oscillator syncing the VCO. The stepped sounds are from the oscillator syncing with the vco.

Switched the filter around, adjusted the resonance for a better response, and fine tuned the aliasing section. Everything is almost perfect…

My first module titled “Weirding Module” is near completion. It’s a switched resistor/capacitor filter/aliaser/oscillator. Not your typical module…
